May be I will try to create such a video tutorial, but I will do it for version SymSMB 3.50 as it is the latest one and basically all will be the same except that in this new version exist an ability to browse computer network without any prior configuration on the phone. However it is still possible in this latest version to use Mapping Network Drive style of access like in version SymSMB 2.00.

Hi, I've been using the 3.5 version and I cannot connect to the phone from PC, I says that I don't have permissions to see the folder, it happens when I try to log with a user who I've added in the phone, if I write a diferent user and password, just asks again, I think the PC connects to the phone, but is some trouble of the permission. Thx.

Being there, done that. To avoid headache and various problems like you described, I would suggest to download the software from developers website and see the difference for yourself.

does this work on the N81 8gb

Yes it does. SymSMB works perfectly on Nokia N81 8gb. By the way, recently appeared the newer version - SymSMB 3.50 and on N81 8gb phone it works wirelessly over Wi-Fi even faster then standard USB cable connection!
