Paul Byrom has become a household name throughout Ireland since the release of his hit album, "Velvet" in the winter of 2005. Recorded in the summer of the same year with the backing of a 54 piece orchestra, an orchestra size more akin with movie score recordings than album recording, "VELVET" reached No. 2 in the charts.
Paul's talent and personality have been complimented and embraced by his peers and many dignitaries alike including President Mary McAleese and The Emperor of Japan amongst others. Ireland's own Shay Healy, Phil Coulter and Bono are amongst those who have vocalized their compliments for this tenor's vocal genius.
Paul brings his experience as a Seasoned Artist to Celtic Thunder, and will be Performing in the 2008 American Tour, the later part of 2008
