I hated Reagan...as did most Europeans and as a Scotsman...we hated Thatcher too. Long live the USA & UK and may God (whatever that is) bless the world.

Just what is a "true American?" If by that you mean slavish devotion to right wing nationalism nothing could be more distant from our Constitutional principles. Nothing could be further from the intent of the Founders of our great democratic republic than the jingoist notion of "my country right or wrong." I'm up to the gills with the concept of one citizen being more of a "true American" than any other. Until we all view and respect each other as true Americans we've missed the mark.

I am brazilian, and I am gratefull for Reagan presidency. I couldn´t agree more. It´s a shame you don´t have such strategists politicians as Reagan anymore. In the 20th, I strong endoss that he was, next to Frank Rossevelt, the best US president. In US history, pherhaps, Washigton-Lincoln-Rossevelt-Reagan. Unfortunately, the hundreds of millions who were actually benefited by such leader will not know the meaning of his legacy until a far away future.
