My dad flew a B-24 Liberator the "nosie Rosie" in China, Burma and India during WWII.

I have my father's Flight Log book. He was in VPB 116 and actually flew on this plane in Feb. 1945, I think 4 times. He was an AMM/2 and was a mechanic and waist gunner.

SKYDADDY---What do you want to know? Andy---alas124

I was a plane Captain on a PB4Y-1 and port waist gunner. Squadron #VB-109 Crew 9

My Dad was with Crew #6 VB-109.

OK, Tell me his name and what position did he have in the crew. Do you plan to attend the upcoming reunion? Andy

His name was Robert W. Carey. He was a waist gunner. I won't be able to attend the reunion as I'll be in Calfornia participating in a WWII documentary.

Yes, I know you, and your books. I knew your Dad very well. So sorry that we will not see you this year. Have a great time in Calif. Andy
