Ive never ridden a horse in trackwork that had to go flatout for 3km, you have no idea at all. Most of their work is a slow canter for around 10 minutes. Perhaps you complete morons who think you know everything should SHUT YOUR MOUTHS.

fukin wankers this has to stop. what has horses ever done to people ?? me n ma mate are goin horse racin college to stop all this. horses have rights. im learin to stop horse cruelity. i shoot the twats that do it !!! lol

Thanks for the video. I know that not all horses end like that, but many do, and that must stop!!
|
This video is dumb.Have you ever even been to the race track.Every race horse is treated very kindly, better then most horses. The slaughter house has nothing to go with the race track. So fixed your info!
|
i agree with you on that, but that is a minority. some do treat them as money machines but there are steps being taken to stop that. there are regular checks on horses and yards, so hopefully that minority will go. i just wish people would stop being so narrow minded and actually try to find out what happens in racing yards instead of just jumping to conclusions saying it ALL cruel. i do look after horses that aint champs, they are greats in the class that they are in, thats how we look at it.

Not all horse racing is cruelty (and yes, an athletic person can run 3km), but there is a definite abusive side to racing. Your racing stable may not be bad, but in my opinion, in horse racing horses are sometimes looked upon as objects, as machines used to gain wealth. That's just not right.

Yeah.. the champions are treated like royalty. What about the ones that don't win? It's not so great for them.

Thoroughbreds are built and bred for running- and they dont have to canter for AGES and you so niavely put it- the longest a racehorse will work on the gallops for is around 5-10 minutes. If it needs longer, the sessions are usually broken up by the horse having a rest while it circles round to go back up. They love going up the gallops- pulling and chomping the bit just to get let go. At the end of the day, a horse has 4 feet on the floor and you have none. They aren't forced to run at all.
