more of a stereotype than racism. Gotta remember that the cartoon is making fun of the civil war and the south in general. And unfortunately that was the stereotype of that period. But to take this cartoon as anything more than warner brothers doing comedic satire on the civil war is a mistake.

Your an idiot, it is racist, your completely irrelevant!

it's funny...not really racist, but not politically correct either.

i think i mit hav seen that on boomerang then again nothings banned in australia!

Bugs Bunny is awesome I agree but the fact that people think its very very funny is kind of strange. I'm half-black I don't think it's racist but I guess it's only hilarious to people cause maybe it is racist....? I'm going by the comments.

SPACE JAM!!!

wooooooooooooooooooow!!!!!!!!! i never knew that these cartoons were so racist.

Funny, I remember this too. I was a Looney Tunes junkie! It's pretty tasteless, (boy???) but hopefully the appearance of ole Abe to chastise Sam means that their hearts were in the right place in general.

They are, they make fun of EVERYTHING, people just flip out about certain races.

OMG I sooooooo remember that scene when I was a kid.
