Maybe more complete thought I've had is towards engineering and the future. Maybe a turbine generator coupled to an electric drive would have been greatly more efficient than a combustion engine. They even drew up plans for nuclear powered cars and airplane! 40 and 50 years ago there were great hopes for the future, but shitty cars populated the roads for decades. Can't believe cars.

ahh...I don't get the question. Anyway. I'm interested in language. But I also understand combustion engines. It's odd that combustion engines are still the standard. ...Because petroleum is accessible and inexpensive? I don't know. Might have been a different engine 30 years ago like a turbine. I'd like to make a small turbine to study.
