If they really find earth at the end, which I assume, it`s the question what state of evoloution earth will have! Is it, like in the old show, our "present day"?? Then I guess no one on board the fleet will ever be unemployed. The arriving of a battlestar in orbit would be the biggest sensation in human history - an event which will bring a change to all we knew so far! Just think of new technologies (FTL for example), weaponry (who will be supported?? Russians?? Americans?? Nobody?? All??)

Bionical, genetical and robotic science (all the knowledge about the cylons - how an intelligent, feeling robot can be built)Perhaps the colonial government decides to build a new nation on earth - which doesn`t share technology to avoid greed and conflict because of it among earth humans. Perhaps they try to unite all humans to one great nation..make the whole planet to a single colony?? Who knows??
