how so? obama is a progressive just like TR was... the republican party was the liberal party in those days, so please explain your comment. TR expanded the govt to regulate business and passed many social welfare programs in his "square deal" platform

actually progressivism by definition is the exact opposite of coservativism lol... back then the republican party was the liberal party, that didn't really change until FDR and ww2, and eisenhower cemented it... TR was very liberal and made several social welfare programs, something republicans of today certainly do NOT do

I actually agree with you. Theodore Roosevelt was possibly the best Republican president we've ever had. I must agree that Palin is crazy... She is very new and nervous and she won't win anything unless she's as articulate as Obama. Obama is young but he is successful. I really hope he wins.
