Sea Otter Classic 2008 - Sat April 19th - Day 3

well..i went to sea otter and i am in the backround with my friend and his mom....and it was cold...but the next day..was my DH race around 5 oclock....it wasnt cold it was windy as hell

Yeah, unfortunately, I went Saturday also. This morning, I put on the same jeans I wore Saturday and I had dust clouds coming off my jeans. That big inflatable slide for the kids blew over late in the afternoon - at least no one was hurt. Even Ryan Leech had a hard time doing his trackstands in the wind.

I hear ya about the dust clouds! I think I made mud in my washing machine when I put my jeans through. It was still an awesome time. Thanks for the comment!

Sea Otter on Saturday was a nightmare! The definintion of miserable- Sea Otter Classic. The BMX track wasn't wetted down, and the dust was in our eyes and you couldn't see anything. The Great Dustbowl. Plus, our hands were frozen. My moms were yellow. Feet were frozen and everything. A NIGHTMARE. Yet, Sunday (today, we just got home), was a beautiful day compared to Saturday. They said ,"It's too cold to snow." It was true.
