Im sorry to any people from boston, but boston accents can sometimes sound a bit retarded.

where are the dancing piggies?

Don't forget the Boston Brahmin accent! Charles Winchester on the show MASH is a good example of this accent. Damn I love Linguistics!
Hahahah cahtoon characters, I love being from Bahston
which is the most likable American accent and can somebody name some speakers who speak it ?
Also, this is a good way to see the difference of a Boston accent. Here in NY we call the credit card Visa a Veesa card. When i talk to customers at my job from Boston they ask if they can pay with their veezer. The R is not quite as hard as it looks but it's definelty like that.
And Chicagoans pronounce it Vee Sah, as in two words almost. Again, I have a nuetral accent and we prounounce it Veesa, quickly.
it's really more baw-ston than bah-ston
i love the Boston accent and often find myself accidently talking with it. ill say pizzer for pizza and sar for saw and take off the R's on certain words. i dont even do it on purpose, and im from SoCal. cant wait to live in Boston when i get older.
you will get your ass kicked if you even try.
You only put an R after a vowel when the word is followed by a word beginning with a vowel: I would like a pizzer and coke. Other wise, you just keep the vowel dangling. It's like when Kennedy said Cuba. It's still Cuba. So don't try to overcompensate with too many Rs where As should be.
