Motorweek reviews Volkswagen EOS 'hardtop' convertible

does any one have an idea if and eos (2.olt petrol turbo) would be quicker than the new 325i convertible. My dads got the EOS optioned up with 18s and McPherson struts and my mate jst got a new 325...i wanna run him lol

You should compare EOs with the bimmer 1, not with the 3. They are two different category of cars.

I see, I think bimmer will be quicker, it better be, otherwise your mate should ask for his money back.........lol

I like that color combo. Might get one but will definitely get the extended warranty as I owned 2 new Beetles and lots of problems with them. Nothing else out there as a hardtop conv other then Pontiac and I heard pretty bad stuff about it and it's the same price so no brainier decision. Wish Mazda or Toyota made one like this. Hate soft top's.
