Is your Mp4 Player Hacked???!!!

i have a dead mp3 player that freezez as soon as i turn it on and when i plug it into the computer it says i need to format it , i click on format then it tells me that the disk is write protected . can i do something about this ?

i put the mp4 into the disk and then i went to movies it says disk is empty. it is probably not hacked cuz i hav like 3gb songs on it. can you help me fix it
