You can make a difference. Through adoption, fostering, volunteering, donations (whether it be money or something you don't need anymore that the animals will benefit from), and even just educating people about responsible pet ownership and the pet overpopulation crisis, you can help these animals. The animal shelters are not the bad guys. They are just doing what they can. Not having animal shelters would not keep animals from dying-- it would just keep them from dying humanely.

I adopted 2 dogs from the Animal shelter, a beagle mix (female) and a full blooded husky (male) and they are 2 of the best pets I have ever had! I would adopt more if I had the room and the money. I would get every animal out of there if I could. your video has touched me. my love for animals keeps growing stronger and stronger. and hopefully one day I will have the room and money for hundreds....
I adopted a dog once...He was the best dog, he was left alone on the road (or beside the highway) and it was very hard for him to be left alone, he eventually warmed up and now hes in austrailia with a skitsofrenic (however you spell it) I miss him T_T
Euthanasia technicians aren't the scum of the earth. Some dogs CAN'T be saved; and if it weren't for these technicians, they would die alone and in pain. The world has made a mess of things, and it's our job to fix it the BEST we can.
And trust me; shelters and vets and people alike are doing the best we can. We can't do it perfect, but we're trying.

If shelters gave a damn then why are all the dogs kept in cages? Precisely, they dont give a damn. Its all about money. It doesnt help either from the tossers who just disgard dogs not thinking they are living beings no different than humans. Except of course dogs are not retarded.
Animal Shelters keep the animals in cages because thats baisacally all the got to give but atleast their trying ti make s diffrence.Again Animal Shelters are not to blame, If those irresposible owners would have thought about the responsibility to that animal and would have cared and loved them properly to even come out side and say hi then they wouldn't even be in the shelters in the first place. The owners are the ones who put this on those animals not the shelters.

Both my dogs are shelter dogs and my cat was rescued. I just got a shelter dog puppy and I got a shelter dog doggy like 5 years ago. This is so sad save these babies.
