3:23 Does anybody know the name of that throw???
judo has weak striking but as soon as your off balance and they have a grip on you your fucked (mostly)
judo has strikes even in some competitions but they are discouraged by many instructors as striking requires weight displacement which raises your center of gravity or puts it off center and in judo if your off balance your screwed
Never talk again about striking in Judo. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
Judo strikes are delivered close quarters and in the flow of your throw on your attacker.
in any martial art except maybe taekwondo and kung fu the striking is generally delivered close quarters and always in flow with your opponent the only difference in judo is that when striking your opponent is aldready halfway to the ground weight displacement is still a large factor especially while floating an opponent because a redirection of weight or force could easily throw you off balance
