Its a global car-GMNA, Opel, Holden, Daewoo for design only.

You see the Daewoo connection because you are a deluded moron. The transmission is NA developed, Daewoo had nothing to do with the Malibu. The only thing Daewoo has produced for GM are it's worst products-the Aveo, Barina, Suzuki Forenza and Reno, etc. All suck. GM for some reason let GMDAT design the Cruze even though GMNA designers are far superior.

Hey moron, Daewoo was bankrupt and GM saved them. The only thing Daewoo did for this car was the interior and exterior design, which happens to be the worst part of the car. Opel engineered the chassis. You should get on your knees and thank GM for saving Daewoo, which was a worthless POS until GM took it over

Designed by GMDAT but Holden came up with the name. I usually love Holden for their RWD cars but for coming up with this name I'm not too fond of them right now.

Some of these comments from a bunch of Korean whining bitches are pretty funny....or sad. GM SAVED Daewoo you ungrateful kimchi sucking idiots. Daewoo was bankrupt, now it's an exporting monster thanks to GM. As for the comments about the Cruze being a Daewoo, GMDAT designed the exterior and interior. The chassis and suspension was designed by Opel. The engines are global with the North American 1.4L Turbo designed by GMNA. As for GM quality, at least they stop when you apply the brakes :)

I don't like this review but the car it's OK

Wasn't this designed by Holden? God Cars are confusing but only in the model way it's like arrr. example the Holden Commodore SS or SV6 is under a different name/company other seas it's quiet annoying to me haha

Exactly- I manage a rental fleet and we have these....once you drive the thing, u would never buy it...it will sell purely on badge loyalty...

Honda has been going downhill as I ha one for many years and can't get rid of it fast enough. Oil keeps leaking and mechanics tell me to give it away but I can't. GM is improving in quality and perception quick. Read Consumer Reports latest perception survey about Chevy.

great another substandard review of a car.. just because you have a press pass doesnt make you something special... drive the car do a proper review and tell me something i give a shit about... engines? trans? price? availability date?... you havent shown me anything that i couldnt see by simply looking through the window or sitting in the car inside a dealership showroom... dont do this for the new 5.0 mustang...

If they sell this junk for less than $10K i can think about replacing my 12 year old Honda Accord which is in shipshape. But will keep my Honda just in case if this GM Junk breaks in the first 2 years and i can continue using my trusted Honda.

its just gas isn't cheap and no one is really financially stable we don't have the money to buy new gm needs to lower the price to sell more

This car looks like a mixture of Chevy cobalt and Nissan Altima. It has the face of a Cobalt and the body of a Altima.
