OH MY F---KING GOD! I am so stunned that this was on tv for kids to watch. Wow, how retarded. Anyone born around 1951 must be messed up.

I think they did both: theatres in the 50's and 60's and later on television. Because I remember seeing this on Mousterpiece Theatre back in the 80's (this was back when Disney Channel actually showed Disney cartoons as opposed to the teenage sitcoms they have on now).

I saw a different version on tv that featured his wife and son, and how at the end after the cigarette exploded, he said, "I quit, and this time I mean it!"
