Robert F. Kennedy's Statement on Dr. King's Death - Montage
Description :
Since the movie "Bobby" is going to be released, I created this montage on Robert F. Kennedy's Statement in Indianapolis, IN on Martin Luther King's Assassination, which he made on the night of April 4, 1968.
Amid the tragedy of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, an extraordinary moment in U.S. political history occurred as Robert F. Kennedy, younger brother of slain President John F. Kennedy, broke the news of King's death to a large gathering of African Americans in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Most of the people hadn't even heard that Dr. King had been shot. I can imagine that they were stunned and some cried. But that evening Robert Kennedy spoke from his soul. The words rang in almost a prayerful manner.

absolutely beautiful and moving! JFK RFK and MLK are 3 inspirations in my life. Just last night i posted a video I made as a tribute to all three of those men. I would be honored for all those who were moved by this video to take a look at mine. my intentions are not to promote my video or to claim that it is better but to further the profound meaning that those 3 men shared.
There assassinations were detrimental to the moral well being of this nation. which bore a deep scar that may never heal

Yes. I was just putting the thought forth today as to what the world would have become if Bobby had become President. I traced everything back and forth and came to the conclusion that this would have been a much happier, respected and mature country. Think about what Nixon did to this society and the way it percieved itself. Then think of everything that grew out of that. Makes me sick.
When Robert announced the murder, the peoples response was spine chilling, it brought tears to my eyes.
We lost a lot of truly great Americans in the 60's.

Evil will not, must not triumph! we are, the good people, we are the one who must bear the burden of this twilight struggle... nothing is more important than this!!! this is not a call to bear arms no arms we need not a call to battle not embattled we are but a call to voice a dissent a call to dispute and refute this current disgraceful administration yet a powerful dissent voiced in civil manner and under the rule of laws and directed to the highest institutions of this great republic!
