The life of Albert Einstein - part 1

Video Title : The life of Albert Einstein - part 1
Description : He is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E = mc2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect." Einstein's many contributions to physics include his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism, and his general theory of relativity, which extended the principle of relativity to non-uniform motion, creating a new theory of gravitation. His other contributions include relativistic cosmology, capillary action, critical opalescence, classical problems of statistical mechanics and their application to quantum theory, an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules, atomic transition probabilities, the quantum theory of a monatomic gas, thermal properties of light with low radiation density (which laid the foundation for the photon theory), a theory of radiation including stimulated emission, the conception of a unified field theory, and the geometrization of physics. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/horizon/einstein_symphony_prog_summary.shtml

Perception at it's peak

unser held albert .. nur iregendwie schade das mann kaum interviews findet wo er in seiner muttersprache spricht :(

Einstein...my inspiration for achievement...

i love the fact that this genious, possibly the greatest scientist the world has ever known...believed in GOD!atheistic scientist are not as smart as they think...they omit the most important piece of the puzzel.GOD!

Not really. ---- I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings. (Albert Einstein).

the word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish." "For me," he added, "the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions." -Albert Einstein Anything else, ecin61 ?

i guess that must be why his first question before tackling a problem was always" if i were GOD, how would i have done it?" by the way, where`d you get those quotes? i`d very much like to know.

From a recently auctioned, authenticated, letter written by Albert Einstein to the philosopher Eric Gutkind in January 1954.

you are right.he didn`t believe in religion, life after death or a personal GOD. he often spoke of the harmony of creation and how there must be a creator. he resented atheist misquoting him to further thier own ideas.

It was only a matter of time
