There is paranormal/supernatural activity happening in the house, and they focuses on the 2 frames to let us know. or... 2.) It slipped by unnoticed ;)

Actually when I saw the picture, how Ben is clothed and the type of monitor (hadn't noticed before it was unplugged) it made me think that this picture might be old, from quite some years ago.

its a good theory of eko being the kid in the pic but at the time the flashback was set Eko would be on the island would he not? in which case, it cant be him, and also, even if was after ekos death it says he was murdered, murder is when one human kills another and the monster as we know is not human, and as livefree75 pointed out, Eko is nigerian and the womans american, and if it was his grandmar his mum must have been young. Its a good theory but judging bythe circumstances dost seem pssibe.
