it's not about the contact, though. it's the fact that the play has to be blown dead immediately when the goaltender loses his mask. |
That's Marty for ya he doesnt play when it comes to his team!! |
ya that's BS. if i was the coach or goalie i'd be pretty pissed too |
Goalie no helmet, immediate whistle, no goal. WTF was the ref looking at? BTW, I dont give three shits about either of these teams, but this seems pretty clear cut |
I WAS THERE. What a crazy game.
Go CONDORS! |
@FallenMonk55 I agree, but that happened in my game once and it lost us the game, but we still had fun and didn't spaz |
"ICE" hockey, lol...it's hockey...any other type should be called by IT'S playing surface (ie ball/field/roller hockey etc) |
Wow those refs are terrible. How can that still be a goal. If I was the coach, I'd probably do the same thing...well I'd just leave and bring it up to the higher powers |
Like I said before. No goal. |
@Smittyswymer agreed. was just clarifying the helmet rule |
69.3 Contact Inside the Goal Crease - If an attacking player initiates contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.
In exercising his judgment, the Referee should give more significant consideration to the degree and nature of the contact with the goalkeeper than to the exact location of the goalkeeper at the time of the contact.
"The degree and nature of the contact" |
That there, is my uncle. And we are dead proud of him, GO MARTIN! :D |
They should make that asshole pick all that stuff up. |
@Smittyswymer in pro hockey, if a goalie loses his mask it's only an immediate whistle if there is no scoring opportunity |
The definitely was no goal. In every league I've ever played for at least. If a goalie loses face mask it should be immediate stoppage of play. |
should have been no goal, goalie's mask was knocked off, immediate stoppage of play |
why is the goalie and coach mad, that goal seemed goo to me |
why are people cheering? this is a damned disgrace, not something to be applauded. |
the last thing on those guys' minds are going back to the dressing room.. id probably just walk out the front door |
lol |
DONT THROW THE STICKS!!!!! give em to me :) |
Should have been no goal |
hahaha i wish i would have been on the bench to be able to hear what the coach was saying i bet it was funny. |
Geez thats Horrible Lou pinella Immation!!! |
