Spitfire and Curtiss P40

Nice spitfire mk.IX, the best spitfire IMHO.

I miss those old planes, and I wasn't even born around that time.

p51a can beat all

Pilot skill > plane. Also it depends on the situation. The spitfire, in most cases, can out turn the p-51 but the P-51 can out run the spitfire. The p-40 at high altitudes wasn't as good as most planes of the time, where as the p-51 wasn't good at low altitudes.

either way they both have the same engine. rolls-royce merlins and the allisons were they same thing i think
