We understand that increasing demand and the oil companies are causing oil prices to rise, but the solution is not just investing in alternative fuels and incresing miles per gallon per vehicle.The major solution is..... PROMOTING NEW URBANISM AND SMART GROWTH with pedestrian and transit-oriented developments!!! Its the suburban way of life is beefing up the demand!!!!

I cannot see why pulling out of a region we control would encourage our enemies to lower prices. they are not fighting us in retaliation, they fight unprovoked (9/11). As far as simultaneously lowering costs, while at the same time creating jobs in this industry I don't see that as being very easy to do. The less employees you have to pay, the less you can charge for the product they produce. I can't say any of the candidates energy agendas get me excited, but this one is particularly naive.
