Actually, Americans forbid the good JDM cars simply BECAUSE of what you've mentioned. The reason why foreign cars are shitty in the U.S is because they don't want the good cars like the Skyline or Supra or Type R or JDM version of the NSX to compete with USDM Motors.

I love these typical americans. They wonder why their economy is going to hell, hmm maybe if you didnt spend all this money on crappy foreign cars...
