Bengal Tiger: Territorial Fight to Death

tigers are the best! i hope that someday i can see a tiger killing the stupid hyena but i know its impossible because they come from different continents. im sure that tigers can kill hyenas faster than lions can do.

Wow! That tiger was huge and yet he got killed. So, I can only imagine how large the tiger that killed him was! Maybe 570 pounds, or even more than that -- 600 pounds??

Royal Bengal Tiger is the second biggest in tigers..and it is mostly used in olden days for fighting against the lion, instead of siberian tigers...bcoz siberians sometimes don't show thier will in fighting..but Bengal tiger shows..bcoz the bengal tiger is the most ferocious of all the tigers! They mostly killed the lions in fights...like in korean pit fights and ancient roman fights...Siberian may b big but it's not as agile,ferocious and aggressive as bengal!

First of all u guys must understand there r many species of Tigers. Bengal tiger r called so becoz they r found only in "Sundarbans"(West Bengal). They r Short in stature as compare to other Species of Tigers found in India. Bengal Tigers r great swimmers (because Sunderban is water floded and Mangroves forest). Simelerly the Hill tigers (Tigers found in Corbett National Park and surrounding hill arias). The r much bigger in stature compare to Royal Bengal Tigers.

If u want to know more about Tigers n how capable killing machine they r, u must read the books written by Gim Corbett (the great conservationist and hunter). He said in his book "maneaters of kumaun" that although Tigers r very good hunters and king of the Jungle but if u Comapare the courageous animal their is nothing come near to a Leopard. Very short in stature compare to Lion or Tiger but when a Leopard get angry he can rip apart any thing comes before it!! According to Jim Corbett!
