prior to the 2006 Epsom Derby, Horatio Nelson's jockey dismounted and he and the trainer were looking at the horse's legs and thought at the time something was concerning them but the horse ran and tragically broke a leg in the race, mere coincidence or should incidents like this and the George Washington tragedy be investigated?

My fav George race. A real legend and will be sorely missed. It's because he was such a character with that touch of brillance that i think so many racing fans are upset today....and angry. i'm surprised at Aidan O'Brien, he should have know better

Well said ! Mr O'Brien should have shown better judgement. In fact the whole meeting should have been abandoned due to the conditions!

At least we can look at his video over and over again. Such a strut, such arrogance, Such beauty. RIP GORGEOUS
