Of course they sound dated, they don't sound like crap. They use real instruments and not some recluse wanksta from MIT for their sound. oh yeah, and they don't curse and show off prison tattoos in their video. The guitar is perfect by the way. It's just not predictable (read: cookie cutter formulaic).

They are just ahead of the times...I'm sure we'll be hearing more and more artists "reaching back" in the purist form real soon, just wait. :)

used to love AD when they came out. this is good but they just sound a little dated now, or something. Does anybody think the sound engineering on this song is off?

The song was good until that rapper with the red hat came on. And the guitarist sounds almost like he's not quit sure how he's supposed to play the song.
