Large parts of the world are faced with starvation, while others are living in abundance. The nations were promised liberation and justice, but we have witnessed and are witnessing, even now, the sad spectacle of liberating armies firing into populations who want their independence and social equality, and supporting in those countries by force of arms, such parties and personalities as appear to be most suited to serve vested interests. Territorial questions and arguments of power, obsolete though they are, still prevail over the essential demands of common welfare and justice.

This man is someone who has fasinated me my entire life. Respectfully I consider him the "Original Hippie". I have read almost every book there is on him and I can't begin to tell you how amazed I am by him. His brain of course is beyond what we have ever encountered, but he was also pure of soul and completely true to his self. He was walking around in the 40's with hair like that, wearing what he wanted with no socks believing in peace and talking about it when it was not popular, I LOVE HIM!
He really liked the freedom, peace and love. Truly he found all this in his scientific world, full of great ideas. Thanks for your comment.
I'm happy for hearing his voice here!
All he said has been revealed as a dream in the real space. Thanks.
That said, I still say a person who does not have a grasp on his first language would not be able to grasp larger political/economic theories. Now back to point. I'd love to hear an example of a truly capitalist society. The U.S. and Europe certainly do not qualify, as they are protectionist, not capitalist. Communism doesn't work, capitalism doesn't exist. In theory, however, capitalism is doomed. It is based on greed. Capitalism checked by the "greater good" seems to me the best scenario.
Where to start?
You need to accept the animal nature of humans : all else follows. Greed is just a desire for reproduction and survival. The rules are set by humans; there are many different rules.
Human nature in China is the same as in Iraq, Russia, and America :rules are different. Capitalism is about rules, as with other systems. But rules differ in each case. A "truly capitalist" society generates a "fair" referee - for its own survival; it is not a society with no rules......
Way too simple. Greed is not JUST a desire for reproduction and survivial. And the only way anyones words are "capable of great harm" is when others fail to think and begin to just accept. That said, 450 word bursts will not allow me to get any real point across, so I'll concede, and slowly back away from the keyboard.
I agree on the 450 word problem...
Anyway,I refuse to believe that i am totally correct and, in that spirit, refuse your concession !

First I'll apologize for my assumption, and admit I was a bit drunk when I posted. What I was trying to say was that he was constantly pestered to speak about the matters of his time that were outside of his chosen discipline. I believe that he eventually figured that it was just as well that he did speak on them. By speaking, an intelligent person would certainly do no harm, even if he is not a recognized expert in said field.I make no claims about the legitimacy of the clip.
Again you are incorrect and misrepresent my point : Einstein - by virtue of his special genius in one field - was not "every" intelligent person speaking about something he was not an "expert" in ...He was Einstein. A special case, and capable of great harm ("Einstein says he Eggs cause cancer et al )...
As for being drunk, rumour has it that this is how Einstein came up with Relativity!
