amrjosef: What I stated in my previous comment was facts. Had all the Palestinian and Syrian negotiated 30 years ago when they had many chips to bargain with, we would have had peace long ago. Now, there are not many chips to bargain with and Israel would not give anything for nothing. By the way, I am an Egyptian, and was a reserve officer for six years and participated in the 1973 war. Most likley you were not born yet.

In 1978, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, and Syria were invited to discuss peace with Israel.. No one showed up but Egypt. 20 years later: Arafat took a fraction of the Palestine land. Jordon made peace with Israel. All Arab counties agreed to recognize Israel if they go back before 1967 war. Israel still controlling Syrian Golan height So, you have yourself to blame by not negotiating peace with Israel when time was right.
