Nice rendition! Occasionally, top male cabaret singers in NYC do a show called Boys Night Out where they sing songs originally written for women. Surprisingly, their versions are often better. Hope to see you on Broadway.

Ok. Love your voice and your interpretation of this. I do disagree about Mama Rose though. There are so few roles for women that are really badass. But I'm all for original works and new musicals and new roles. Write write write I say!!!!

Well Mama Rose is a very demanding role (vocally that is) and though a drag may be incredibley talented, he just couldn't sound like a woman thatis needed for that role. Though if they were just acting it, sure why not? I saw Patti in it around a month ago
