HGTTG The Babel Fish

Stephen Fry was one of Douglas Adams' best friends, he was the only one (other than his own wife I think) that Douglas told the reasoning behind making 42 the answer to life, the universe and everything.

Which makes him the best choice to be the voice of the guide*

I love how it miscellaneously shows the guy scorching his hands in hot water. LOL

I think he's washing his hands after the Babelfish translated his cow's love confession to him.

I know, it's just off topic from what the video was describing. They're showing that the guy was milking a bull, and that the bull was loving it. Then continues that lil mini story how he went to to go wash his hands, while the narrator continues to talk about th Bable Fish.

Wait wait wait...you're saying that Stephen Fry screwed up the voice of the guide?! My dear sir, i disagree!

I just feel that in this iteration, the humor is almost lost throughout sections of the guide.

Yes, it's always a toss-up going from book to movie, because the voice in your head is always infinitely funnier than any mere mortal speaking into a microphone. However, I did enjoy Mr. Fry's rendition of it. But i was less than pleased on his "space is big" section during the movie.

I just heard the old version and didn't like it, Stephen Fry does it better
