This brings back so many memories, I watched this episode with my mother and noone was breathing! Judith Light was and still is a stellar actor in the industry! Does anybody remember her Lifetime movies?
|
This is the most brilliant performances ever in daytime history!
I will never forget this episode, it made cry for hour's!
|
What happened to the other clips of Judith as Karen that were up? I want to see more of her during here time on the show, especially scenes with her and Larry and Karen and Marco.
|
my god!!!!!!! This scene is so good I need a smoke!!!!!!!! I remember watching this when it first aired in 1979.Judith light and the late great Gerald anthony were the best things to ever happen to oltl. The show was never as good before or after they were on it!Gerald anthony never got the credit or recognition he so richly deserved, the media choose tony geary as the poster boy for changing daytime as the anti-hero luke spencer.Marco dane was the first anti hero of daytime!Karen and marco rock!

Man, I loved this episode! What a reveal! Soap Opera as it ought to be! Judith Light delivered one hell of a powerful performance! She was broken down on the witness stand, but she also was kicking butt and naming names! Talbot Huddleston, one of the most wealthy men in Llanview, had his reputation destroyed nice and proper and was also sent to the slammer! Good riddance to him! Also loved Reba McEntire's commentary! She had a lot of fun doing that.

Judith Light deserves her own star on the Walk of Fame. She's a brilliant actor, has incredible staying power and does so much for different social causes. It's high time corporate Hollywood gives her A-list recognition.

Herb Callison & Karen Wolek...wow, I remember being completely gripped by this storyline back in the 70s. If OLTL were still like this, I'd still be watching :)
|
I Remember watching this , completely glued to the TV
This during a time when soaps knew how to tell a story - I long for those days- again
