me too. her voice is just splendid
Wow..NOT a good movie by any means.
I don't like Natalie Portman's gravely voice, and Norah's voice does have the bleached whitebread sound and that was very well said! She is an extremely bland and mundane person. Jude has a more interesting persona. He has a more intriquing voice. Norah is very generic, very boring and not an artist or an actress. She might be nice but doesn't belong in the artworld. Natalie is also awful
thanks for the backup, i was beginning to think i was the only one
Well, yeah Natalie has that voice but she's still pretty good. She's like the iconic American girl. Norah has that artsy quality in her and just to let you know she's a musical person not an actress.
why so muche hate?
i'm just let down that she didn't appreciate, in any meaningful way, being in a wong kar wai movie. it seems like it could have been any kind of movie for her. watching this interview really ruined some of the magic for me, and yeah, i'm upset about that. it isn't hate, it's disappointment.
You're going a bit to far ;) I'm a huge fan of Kar-Wai's movies but I can't undesrtand what do you mean by 'appreciating' the fact of working with him? She even don't have to like his films (aesthethic taste is the matter beyond any discussion), she's just doing her job and taking some fun. Would you like her to pray to him or something? I think she has enough of a talent and sensitivity to uderstand the director's thought and play it well. And I think that Kar-Wai also knows what he is doing.
