I love my Datsun
---i am selling a 1971 240z and a 1974 260z...NO RUST!! READY TO DRIVE OR RESTORE!! E-MAIL ME INFO....pic link attched to my channel!
You are both idiots. Al9586: She might be rusty, but my Z will still be most new cars today :)
Too bad they rusted like Alka Seltzers in a hot cup of tea. Even then, the japs were copycats and bootleggers.
youre an idiot
You're an asshole.
So... My 34 year old never been restored car is a rust bucket? Good to know.
Anything made out of metal in that era rusted.
Copycats? Or did they just improve on everything? My car is still on the road being driven. How many of the XKE's that inspired it are still being driven? Much less, owned by people in the lower classes? No.. It's not all that original in design. But, they got something right. They got a car that was built well, and loved by many. Be a hater if you want. It's cool.
And also mine did come with AC, i just wanted more power and so i took it out, but honestly it's a great car and i have a LOT of fun in it! I love speeding down the freeway, you'll easily beat Acuras and Civics. But i bought mine for 1250 and honestly i've spent about 4000 restoring it to running condition so if you can find one i recommend that you buy it.
I'm a 19 year old and my first car is a 1970 240z and honestly if you put the work into it you will have a great car. It honestly took me about 6 months to get it to running condition, i swapped out the L24 and put a L28, changed the brake lines, Replaced the Su Carbs To Triple Webers, replaced the transmission, R200 differential, new springs and shocks. But honestly it's a great reliable car you just have to make time out of your day to take care of it.
