Thanks for putting this phenomenal film up. It is still very admired, but not shown in second run theatres ever. I remember seeing it back in late 1990 and me and my friends were blown away by its style and Annette Bening, in particular. Incidentally, she was one of several actresses considered, after Geena Davis turned Stephen Frears down.

great film, the guy going crazy from his scams is probably the best scene to match our financial profile now in US

You know I don't know if Annette will ever win the Oscar, she is always bested by the... Well let's just say I think she was totally robbed for this film and American Beauty... If you haven't seen it... Just take a look at it, and watch the scene where she cleans the heck out of a house... All the angry... all the pent up sexual tension... That's what the OSCARS are all about...

BTW...that's Scorsese at the beginning narrating...(just for those who didn't know...)
