I had no idea disc brakes were offered this early! I thought they started coming out in the late 60's. Not at the beginning of the decade.

We heard that this model leaked water really bad. But from the commecial, I'm ready to go buy one! We have a '60 Lark Wagon and I'd love to have that convertible top part...

Studebaker introduced the Wagonaire in the 1963 model year. It stayed in the lineup until Studebaker passed away in 1966. This commercial is from the 1963 model year; I don't know if it was filmed in 1962 or 1963.
