Yes you can attack. It is an Military Jet Simulator - with whatever this brings with it ^^ LockOn is the worlds best Jet Sim ever made (simulated avioniks, physics and graphics) and i think it will take decades to release a better sim. FSX in a civillian simulator. You can not attack or shoot in that game.

So is this considered a flight simulator? Can you attack in this game if you are flying jets? What do you guys think about this game in comparison to flight simulator x? Do any of you know if you can attack (missles or something) in FSX if you are flying jet fighters? thanks. :)

i have this game but everytime i press fly my screen turns black but there still sounds and music playing

No. You can only fly the F-15C, A-10, Su-27, Su-33 and Mig-29

if u get flaming cliffs expansion you can

FC adds the SU-25T to flyable aircraft. You cant fly the Mirage.
