Dude you must really be stupid. after Chevy came out with the Camaro. People flocked in to buy them and thats why they're so popular now. They're rare and mustangs aren't.
@Coolkid89383 The Mustang came out in 1964, three years before the Camaro. The mustang was the original pony car.
No offense but only pussys ride nitro. You have to have faith in your machine like i have a 1970 Chevy Camaro Z28 with a 415 Stingray engine in it with a 4 spd manual.
its true you are just jealous. Oh and just say it Bitch. you must drive one of those little 2008 Honda Civics while us Men drive 1970 Chevy Camaro Z28s
Did you just get the regular or a Z28?
Dude every car enthusist i know would disagree with you. The 69 Z28 only had 290 hp While the 70 Z28 had a whopping 375hp
Oh really? The 69 Z28 only had 290 hp. While the 70 Z28 had a whopping 375hp
Dude that was the best year for Camaro. The 1970 Chevy Camaro Z28 was the best. It had everything the 375 horsepower engine that basicly kicks the ass of a mustang by a longshot
Or the COPO 427
Dude the Camaro is the orginal muscle car. The mustang was a copy of the Camaro. The camaro basicly invented Muscle Cars. So go cry to your dadda and say "why didn't we get a Camaro WAAAAAAAAAH" Camaro's rule Mustang sucks
LIKE YOUR MOM! OWNED!
I dont mean to be mean but the 1976 Camaro's didn't have that much horsepower. The 1970 Chevy Camaro Z28 had the power and i have one. Thats the camaro that is the chick magnet but the 76s still have style. Atleast you chose a Chevy instead of a Ford
Needs a girl in hot pants.
it not how young u are its how old u arent
I liked the 70-1/2 Camaro better than the Firebird. The early 2nd gen was really the best of the lot and that includes the new 2010 Holden body. 1st gen was just a rushed into production rebodied Nova to compete with Mustang. 3rd and 4th gen were dopers cars.
SOLD! if only adverts these days were like that. instead we have barry scott shouting at us about dirt!
Damn my dad got one is 76. The first time I remember I fell in love with how it looked. He gifted it too me when I got 16 and now i drive it all the time. and damn is it ever a chick magnet! =D
old but still excellent ads!
I have never seen wheelcovers like these.
aside from the road noise and the growl of a v8. second gen camaros are some of the smoothest and most comfortable cars to drive (and have pretty decent handeling with the z suspension). breaks of course are a different story. Props for digging up this commercial.
My guess is that the top end engine was special order only. They probably didn't sell many and didn't want them sitting around. Even today you'll find most cars in-stock on the lot are the same build. My dad has told of when he special ordered a 427 w/ stick shift for a 67 Grand Marquis wagon. I think it's hilarious he did that, but a Ford-rep talked him out of it. They had some crazy options back then, probably because they had to be available to be legal in stock car racing.
back in the day, you went to the dealer and ordered the car you wanted, 2 weeks later they'd call you and say its in...thats why GM is in the hole now cuz they started to make 10,000 cars per selling only 5,000 see?
I dislike this more glass less chrome shit... Hot rods from '50s rulz!!
It was all about options back than, but you could buy them from dealers.
"It's not about how young you are, it's how old you aren't." Gee, to think I would have to look back to a 1970's car commercial to find some of the truest and wisest words ever spoken!
