That´s not true. Mercedes is more than a status symbol, now a lot of cars have good quality but not like Mercedes, you can run more than 400000 miles in a Mercees diesel, and you just have the pre-safe system in the mercedes S class

Ive got my 99 ML-320 at my side... Its 2K miles short of getting its first High mileage award, and I can assure you that the 153K miles on it have rarely been friendly. Was the 28K I paid worth it? EVERY LAST CENT. Mercedes- Second to NONE.

What country did this version of the commercial air in? The one that showed in the US had very different music and it also had a voiceover saying "If you were building the Ark today, what would you bring?" Does anyone have this version? Please upload it if you do!

all i said was that mercs are too expensive for the performance you get... and there too sloppy when driving comparitivly to audi and bmw... same with ferrari and lambo, a gallardo costs an assload of money, and doesnt break 10 seconds ina 1/4 mile... i would want my moneys worth if spending that much money.

I see... don't know what kind of Ferrari or Mercedes you've been driving. Audi's are soften VW's. Driving a Gallardo is about feeling special, not the fastest ride. BMW is comparable to Mercedes, better in some categories (335X C350), worse in others (760xS600 or M5xCLS55). I'll respect you're opinion. But, whenever you are really putting your money in a car, keep an open mind and test drive'em all. I always end up with the star. Maybe you'll change your mind.

lol, im not saying merc sucks, i love audi, BMW and merc all the same, i simply ment that mercedes overprices, JUST COMPARITIVELY to the performance... 8D

Well, the performance cars, such as SLR and SL63 are reasonably priced. The C350, which is very slow compared to the 335 is also 5k usd cheaper, if I'm not mistaken. The C63 doesn't work really well, but the SLK55 is 64K usd, as performance goes in a roadster, it ok. If you want good value: Skyline GTR is 69K usd but "unaducated" people will think it's a G37 or 350Z. It will be faster then pretty much everything, but... where is the bling?
