I would respectfully submit that vicster is the ignorant jackass. Reagan had little but contempt for the Constitution and the democratic values we supposedly hold so dear. And like Bush, Reagan was a war criminal. He mined foreign harbors and gave military and financial aid to Saddam Hussein when he was gassing the Kurds! He also gave military aid (in violation of Congress' wishes) to right wing death squads in El Salvador and the Contras in Nicaragua. So much for being a "patriot"!

Lady Thatcher and President Reagan represent the height of America's incredible story that took only 200 years to build. The admiration of so many British people toward this incredible man isn't any different than that of tens of millions of American's who saw in Ronald Reagan the very essence of what allowed the United States to become the beacon of the world. The world owes these two a huge amount of gratitude in helping steer us back from the wayward path of the 60s and 70s.

If they were in power, in the four years earlier the 11/9 and the four next, the problems we´ve seen through would never become so difficult. They´ve done such a great job, they cleaned up the house, we only had to maintain it clear! How incompetent our leaders have been! And how trully spoiled we as public opinion have become!

You're right only in the regard that Reagan and Thatcher would have had Russia cleaned up in a day. Today's Bush and "neocons" as you call them mull it out while paying a too much attention to liberal blather.

Ronald Reagan is the greatest leader we've ever had, and most likely the greatest we'll ever know.
