Description :	Our 4th project from my Principles Of Editing class I took spring semester 2007 at Towson University. This was basic action editing where we had to take 30 minutes of raw footage from the Highlander TV show and edited it into this short sword fight. The only original sound that we kept was the dialogue. We spent 50 hours adding every grunt, every breath, every scream, every sword clang, sword whoosh, explosion sound and lighting bolt as well as editing the music to the scene. It's a bad show, don't blame me that it's hilarious, lol. I wanted to use my choice in music to make it better, but alas we weren't alowed to. Edited by Kaya Savas & Will Cording

has duncan ever killed someone he thought was an lmortal and stood there waiting for the quickening but it dosent come cos i thought that was going to happen there ha ah

Whoa, I didn't remember that this guy actually gave Duncan a good fight. I thought I remembered him as a psycopath that hid behind dirty tricks. He actually stays on the offensive for a fair part of the duel and parries a couple of Duncan's usual "finishing" thrusts.

I did the same project and it had a special effects already set up including lighting. Yours didn't come with it?

Ours did come with it on the tape, but my professor showed us how to make our own and even though it stands out I think it has more screen presence than the original lightning.

Overall, very nice work. The lightning wasn't all that realistic, but I haven't even touched after effects yet, so I don't know much in terms of adding that in. The dialogue and sfx seemed to be at different levels (had to turn my volume down a bit once the sfx started). I remember editing footage from this episode (the one with "Mr. McCleod, you do turn up in unexpected places." so I understand the footage you have and how horrible the actiing and such is.
