What a liar. EVERYTHING she says in this "interview" is a lie. Her government destroyed manufacturing industry. She consciously divided the country. She removed power and influence from the individual trades union member through the introduction of the most vicious anti-trades union laws in the developed world. She was a class politician whose every act was done in the short term interest of the haves at the expense of the have nots.

If we'd have been any good at making anything (and we had been hopeless of making things since the war), we might still have manufacturing. Trade Union influence and power also destroyed manufacturing - demarkation, restrictive practices, strikes without a ballot. Grow up and do your histroy

Dont get personal. I live in my own house, I have a job and I dont take drugs. Africa is poorer than it was in 1960 due to globalisation. Africa is also in the real world. Try talking to them rather than over your privet hedge to your neighbour about how your house has gone up in value since 1979. You are living in a bubble. The unions decided many years ago (and you may not like this but deal with it) that they needed political representation. So the Labour Party was born. Like all parties it needed finance. Union members were ASKED if they want to pay the levy and are at liberty (always have been) to refuse. Unlike New lab and Tories who squeeze money out of all kinds of unsavoury characters.
