Shabbir just returned to India in last week of July from New York. He will be coming to USA in middle of May 2009 and stay till July. Mostly he stays in New York and New Jersey. I will inform you for sure about his workshops etc. ahead of time. Thank you

Ustad Shaik Dawood was such an amazing player. He was a real master of tabla playing. Great technique, knowledge, dedication, spontanity and above all passion for tabla playing all combined lift his playing and music to another level. It's really great that Ustad Shabbir Nisar, his son is still here to share the beutiful style and compositions that Ustad Shaik Dawood taught him.
