I think I can summaries Obama's plan: 1) Provide better regulation of credit card companies and mortgage companies. 2) Create fund from taxpayer dollars to help those who have a mortgage that is too big for them to handle. 3) Repeal Bush tax cuts. 4) Increase taxes on energy. 5) Increase long-term capital gains tax from 15% to 28%

Wonderful speech. But the issue of bringing transparency to government as a way to plug the influence of corporate lobbies on law making, is I think, wrong. The problem is that the more transparent and «open doors» government becomes, the more easily lobbyists can monitor and influence law making.

Last I heard it was the lone female in the race that threatened to "obliterate" Iran. Not to mention that she voted to authorize the war in Iraq no matter how she tries to spin it.
