It didn't Explode it Imploded which means it just fell in on itself, the result is No damage whatsoever, usually a big hole is leftover though, you should see the result of the key bank building's implosion in salt lake city, iy's a BIG hole

pretty fuckin boss. that's a large building

to make room for something bigger and more expensive and it's pretty safe, they evacuate for a good distance, put debris tarps on nearby buildings and the explosions are so precise the building drops into its own footprint

was a horrible hotel!
