TOO TRUE.
"ART IS A THREE LETTER WORD" William S. Burroughs..........
Absolutely. Im fucking tired of these fake pukes downing these guys. They think that being a "true"artist you have to walk around in nasty ass facial hair, stink and have absolutley no sign of brands on any piece of clothing. Just turn their tag over on their smelly ass underwear and follow them home to their parents house in the suburbs and you'll see how fucking phoney these pukes are. They would sell their soul for a fraction of a percent of Koons sales and success. Thank You for being real.
They are both such an inspiration and their aesthetics move me.
Jeff Kooning is the best Willem de Koons is not.
oh my god! tom ford is so hot! Im never bored with tom ford
I really wish I had the Sundance channel so I could watch this episode. Tom Ford is a legend in my eyes! I love him and I totally understand what he means when he speaks about how Jeff Koons' artwork is much like the bombardment of marketing/ads that consumers face from many industries around the world.
Jeff keeps the Rococo alive.
The art of jeff koons is really an imagen of a decadent society in the century XXI. Congratulations!! jejeje ;)
Yet... Jeff Koons doesnt work on any of his pieces. Now that's Minimalism... Jeff Koons has no talent. Just money.
I love Jeff Koons and Tom Ford x
Jeff Koons' artworks remind me of those tacky figurines you find in 99 cent stores in America. His work is recontextualization rather than genuine original vision. If people pity the Victorians for the maudlin nature of the mainstream art of the 19th-c. how much more will future generations pity us for Jeff Koons?
I congratulate Tom Ford and Jeff Koons on their successes. Those who whine and complain about his success are simply jealous that they haven't figured out a way to capitalize on their own talents and abilities.
kitsch is an essential component to the point he's making. (see warhol, andy.)
I think Tom Ford is a baffoon- he's such a consumerist moron he considers art and shopping the same thing and once again compares his bullshit syling to art. He's such a haute bourgeois gay sociopath - EWW CREEPY with that pathetic mannered way of talking. I wish he'd just shut up and really retire.
tom ford looks tired in this interview. He looks rediculous when he exclaims"bombarded"!!!
Both idiots.
Some of his stuff is ok I guess. Still one thing is true: Paul McCarthyJeff Koons lol at harshtradamus's comment.
tom ford looks like a giant fuckin tool
Tom makes a nice analysis of his work
BOMBARDED
his art is like eating a big mac that tastes like bubble gum.
jeff koons makes collage of other peoples art, there is no essence or meaning.. he just caters the rich, even though his art is really expensive it's just kitsch(tacky)
apparantly i did haha
you missed the sarcasm
