They think that being a "true"artist you have to walk around in nasty ass facial hair, stink and have absolutley no sign of brands on any piece of clothing. I really wish I had the Sundance channel so I could watch this episode. Tom Ford is a legend in my eyes! I love him and I totally understand what he means when he speaks about how Jeff Koons' artwork is much like the bombardment of marketing/ads that consumers face from many industries around the world.

Jeff Koons' artworks remind me of those tacky figurines you find in 99 cent stores in America. His work is recontextualization rather than genuine original vision. If people pity the Victorians for the maudlin nature of the mainstream art of the 19th-c. how much more will future generations pity us for Jeff Koons?
