Its funny, you can buy a complete package Gateway now that includes a 19" monitor and 3 in 1 printer at Best Buy for under $800. They wanted over $1,000 for the Tower alone and in present standers, this computer is lower grade performance. The Gateway I just bought is a gt5648E. The specs are: AMD 64x2 6000+, 320GB hard drive, 3gb Ram, Dual Layer dvd/cdrw drive with Label Flash Technology, 128MB on board Video, which I upgraded to a 512MB GT8400 Graphics card. All for Under $900

I payed $900 just to own the laptop for 2 years but only less then 6 month of using it cause it goes to Gatway to be fixed for over 7 times and last for 4 to 7 weeks at a time. Luckly they said afther 5 return we get to switch off to a new laptop for the same price

ummmm it probably cost them $500 to build also, but since 99% of the worlds population don't know how to build computers, this industry called computer manufacturing popped up a few years ago, I think they cover this kind of stuff in business textbooks or something
