Youre an Idiot. Thats a big rat. Usualy when you start feedig rodents equal to that size you should kill the rat first. Rodents have teeth and a value for their own life and they will defend them selves. I've seen injurys in herps where the rat bit a hole through the snakes eyes..no more pretty JCP. Next time, do your snake a favor, put the rat in a bag and whack it against the wall till its atleast half dead. Grab some tongs and introduce it to your python. I promise he will grab it.
