VERY interesting poem that you have written there in the description. I have been interested in the relationship between the paradoxes of Zeno/Parmenides and the Hebrew God "I am that I am".

"You are a hypocrite! A mindless wingless, lifeless little ball. It Rises! They say. It falls. But I am no fool. You move not at all. Have you nothing to say for yourself?!" I ignore its blinding "I AM!"
dismiss its deafening "I WILL BE". "As I thought". <-----This is what i mean, btw.

Also, when you get a chance to watch the videos about objective vs subjective morality, generally, watch how it culminates in a "murder". I thought there was a type of passion-play that was predicted by Genesis and the story of Cain and Able. No hurry.
;P

Ok, I think I've watched all of the videos. I think there were eight altogether! I'm mulling it over..........mulling it over..... ah ha!.......... no, wait........... mulling again.... I'm afraid to take a shot, but I think I'm getting close.

Well we had the war of wits going on, and it was a discussion on the knowledge of good and evil. But then the murder? the discussion touched on murder, but perhaps you are referring to the predictable "to the man!". Still, you are wondering if the "intellect" is the bad guy in the end? I feel like I"m getting warmer..... am I?

There isn't necessarily a specific right answer. I was looking for your interpretation. I do have something inparticular that sparked me to ask you, however. That was that you had posed a riddle.
|
The "murder" that I suggested had played out in the end was a final video where several people collaborated against veritas48's position in and act of humiliation. It was taken down shortly (a day later?) after it was up.

If you feel like you are satisfied with your answer, let me know and than I'll tell you what I though also. Thanks for all the time you spent watching those videos.

I think the key to the whole thing for me surrounded around the word "dumb" in the poem and the Bible verse where God says (paraphrase), "You may eat of any tree except the Knowledge of Good and Evil, lest you die".

Ok, I can't take it anymore. I'm not satisfied with my answer, but I have seen the video (murder) that was taken down, and I am so intrigued by the suggestion that the serpent was mans own intellect, chiding him to have the guts to disobey. The only question left I guess, is "did man die?" Please give me your thoughts on the poem, the genesis chapter, how the two relate, and then their relation to the az/veritas exchange. You Rock Mr. Barklord!
