Yes, sorry, that is explained in the video description. 000webhost changed the service just as I finished the video. With the new youtube video annotations I will make that very clear in the next couple of days. Logging in to you control panel is now different as you have to do it through the 000webhost site, AND they have a different control panel now. The underlying features are all the same though. I recommend that you watch my video on installing Joomla on 000webhost and try it out.

Thanks, I've seen another video out there about this service, BUT the reason I like yours is because at the end you explain that it's free but if you have a site that's important you probably want to pay. Lot of folks get a low cost or free hosting and when something terrible happens they're surprised. So with these kinds of services you want to have a backup procedure you use ALL THE TIME.

coincedence. As you see I made this vid on the old system and by the time I edited it and posted it (a few days) they had changed their system and I started receiving "complaints". There are still many people out there that use the old system and so when I take help question pm's from people (I do this a lot) I have to know how to do "it" on both systems. Anyway, like I said in the description, the new system is just as good, all things considered, both good and bad.

NOT all implementations of cpanel are the same: "they" can (and do) disable cpanel components. while most prefer cpanel, you DON'T necessarily get the real deal anyway, especially from a free host. even godaddy doesn't have cpanel (you have to pay extra). Besides, most people don't even know what cPanel is, where easily half the users (and providers) out there use "cpanel" when they really mean propietary "control panel". Trust me, it matters very little: functionality is still there.

further, in my support videos I take on the new 000webhost control panel. I have a video tutorial up that explicitly shows how to manualy install joomla 1.5 on the new 000webhost system and control panel. Again, I regularily field support pm's from users of the new system, so if anyone has a question, just ask. Like I said, I DO take pm's, but please leave questions in the youtube comments so others can see the answers.
